Plenary: Federal Government Ministerial Agenda & Economic Address (Supported by JLL)

To set the focus of the conference the Annual Ministerial and economic address sets the scene of the economic conditions, the national housing challenges, and the opportunities today. It opens the theme of best practice members exchange for PowerHousing Australia CHPs to Connect, Collaborate and Construct Healthy Australian Communities in partnership with the Federal, State and Local Governments.

The International Plenary is set to consider the perspectives of the two of the largest Housing Associations in the respective countries of USA and the UK with a consideration of the future of investment into scale delivery of social and affordable housing.

With the backdrop of Canberra and a new Federal Labor Government with a sizeable housing policy including the Housing Australia Future Fund, the International Plenary will kick off the days program to focus our thought leaders on Connecting, Collaborating and Constructing healthy Australian communities.

PowerHousing Academy Scholarships and National Awards

The 2022 PowerHousing Academy Scholarships and National Awards are designed to showcase the individuals and teams amongst our membership who have gone above and beyond to support their colleagues and tenants.
PowerHousing will be celebrating the staff in our organisations who have brought people together, supported each other and have done whatever they can to enhance the lives of their colleagues, tenants and the organisation – no matter how big or small.

The 2022 PowerHousing Academy Scholarships and National Awards provides an opportunity for members to showcase their staff and their achievements. The awards acknowledge our sector and the community at large, as well as highlighting the difference that PowerHousing members make to the lives of tenants, local communities and our nation.

Award winners will be announced at the PowerHousing Academy Scholarships and National Awards dinner on Tuesday 22 November 2022.
